“It was right near a lot of places that made it a convenient place to stay. It was also near where I needed to be. ”

“Last minute stop; price was ok as we just slept and got up and left. Nighttime desk attendant very nice and helpful at 10:00pm. Room was a room, no usb plugs or anything but bed decent and room livable. AC was cold.”

“The rooms were clean but very small. There wasn’t a dresser in the bedroom and you could hardly walk around the bed. You can hear the people above your room just walking across the room.”

“Rooms were very clean along with the main hotel. Pool is small but decent and the gym is nice. Parking was ok and plentiful. Breakfast is simple - bread,bagels, muffins, eggs, sausages, oatmeal and diy waffles. There was always fresh coffee and hot water for tea and hot cocoa. My only con is someone was able to just come in through the front and was acting very erratic and not themselves.”

“The first room has stains on it sheets and they quickly swap this out to another room. I checked the sheets. They looked OK and then laying down I saw what looked like barbecue sauce or marinara sauce on the pillow so I’d ask for a new pillowcase, which came promptly. This is more about Expedia complaint, but I bought the insurance in case of a cancellation which I tried to use because my wife is so pregnant. We really didn’t wanna go, but you had to cancel the reservation a week in advance and……

“Breakfast was a good selection”

“Property and room were dirty. Had to change rooms immediately. Breakfast had ants on buffet. They only have one pool which splits into an outdoor and indoor area. People outside hotel were very sketchy.”

“Waiting the fire alarm and flood for nearly one hour and very hard to get asleep again.”

“The manager was rude. The “lounge” is a few gross local overpriced wines and beers that they make you buy because you can’t consume off-site alcohol. The building we stayed in was literally falling apart. No lake access and management that acted like they were doing us a favor by letting us stay in their run down room.”

“I like that the rooms are clean and good size. But probably needs improvement with the amenities. Staff are ok, some are friendly some aren’t. Over all I would still recommend it.”

“Negatives (though nitpicky) Elevator was slow, and the sink... Don't get me started lol. I could barely wash my hands it was so close to the edge of the bowl. The cleaning staff came in to our room way too early (8 freakin 30 man) before we were even close to checking out. Positives: Other than that it was a nice place, good breakfast, nice staff. Definitely would stay again even with the negatives.”

“Staying at Silver Beach Hotel was very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and it was very easy to park in this downtown area. We loved having a view of Lake Michigan as well as being able to enjoy walking on the Bluff / experiencing downtown St. Joe without having to move our car. The breakfast was very basic, however, without a lot of choices. We ended up going to one of the many coffee shops in the area.”
